STORE MANAGER & ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR

JOIN A GROWING AND COMMITTED COMPANY

As part of its development, SAILHERO is recruiting a Store Manager & Administrative Coordinator to strengthen its team.

Founded in 1996, SAILHERO is a recognized name in the sailing industry, known for its technical expertise, commitment to quality, and deep passion for sailing. We specialize in supporting pleasure boat owners by integrating innovative onboard solutions that promote sailing mobility and energy autonomy at sea—powered by nature.

Our tight-knit team of 7 passionate individuals operates out of a 400 m² facility located in the heart of Hyères harbor, including a 200 m² retail store and 200 m² of workshops (sailmaking, rigging, upholstery).

SAILHERO is also part of the Delta Voiles network—the largest sailmaking network in France—present across the entire French coastline.

ROLE OVERVIEW

You will oversee the physical and online store operations while managing the company's administrative functions. As a true operational right-hand, you’ll be at the heart of the company—interacting daily with customers, suppliers, partners, and internal teams.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Store Management (Physical & E-commerce)

  • Oversee in-store and online sales processes.

  • Advise customers and finalize sales.

  • Ensure order follow-up through delivery and manage any complaints.

  • Prepare shelves, manage inventory, and receive goods.

  • Welcome customers in person and by phone, directing them to the right contact.

2. Supply Management

  • Manage deliveries, supplier invoices, and payment processing.

  • Update the production schedule to ensure proper tracking of orders.

3. Sales Administration

  • Prepare invoices, follow up with customers, and manage unpaid accounts.

  • Oversee bank transactions and cash flow.

  • Update customer files and internal databases.

  • Maintain contact with industry partners (marine professionals, architects, project managers…).

4. Accounting Support

  • Enter and organize accounting documents.

  • Monitor VAT declarations and social obligations.

  • Maintain a close working relationship with the accounting firm.

5. Marketing & Events

  • Plan and organize communication campaigns and event participation.

  • Maintain communication materials (PowerPoint, website, social media, printed visuals, etc.).

6. General Administration

  • Archive and organize company documents.

  • Manage HR admin: time tracking, absence records, support with recruitment and training logistics.

  • Draft and process letters, emails, reports.

  • Keep internal tracking tools up to date (dashboards, CMMS, e-commerce site, etc.).

7. HR Admin Support

  • Monitor working hours and absences for the entire team.

  • Prepare payroll and bonuses in collaboration with the accounting firm.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Full-time position: 39 hours/week

  • Salary based on experience
