SELDEN double furling line guide (quarter-turn opening) for stanchions. Top-down furlers use endless furling lines whose splice prevents the use of conventional blocks to lead the line back to the cockpit. The Seldén double line guide combines a composite bracket for 25/30 mm stanchions with an opening stainless steel fairlead. It opens with a simple push-and-twist, so the line passes through quickly, and closes just as easily. The double guide keeps the line from tangling and the rounded fairlead limits friction.
